Sunshine Housing Inc. is about being a family. Supports provided are based on a person-centered approach and we strive to ensure each individual has the right to full citizenship, right to self-determination, right to feel safe and loved and right to meaningful relationships.

Here is what Sunshine Housing Inc. has to offer:

Group Homes

Group Living Homes

Residential Programs include both Group Home and Group Living Supports. Residential supports are provided in the homes of people supported by Sunshine Housing Inc. Supports encompass a wide range of daily supports tailored around the individual needs of each person. The goal is to help each person to live as independently in their home and community.

Community Based Day Programs

Community Based Day Program’s goal is to provide meaningful programs with a purpose based on each individuals’ goals, dreams and needs. Programs include:

  • Paid employment
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Skill development
  • Vocational projects utilizing skills

Recreation Programs

Recreation Programs are designed around each individuals interests and goals, with the purpose of providing meaning and joy to each person’s daily life.

Sunshine Housing Inc. provides services to individuals who meet the mandate of Community Living Service Delivery, a division of the Ministry of Social Services and who are 18 years of age and older.

Here at Sunshine Housing we enhance daily living for each individual to their needs. We dedicate to make their day to day activities a priority and to have fun. We also help our individuals set out goals and help to achieve them. We as staff provide spiritual and emotional support. It’s not always easy being away from family and friends. I am proud to call Sunshine Housing my place of Employment and each of the residents hold a special place in my heart.
